Reflections
About God
Favour comes from God alone; good understanding (which gives favour) comes through asking Him for His wisdom.
About Self
I need to guard myself against my own sinful desires…they are enduring and hard but avoidable in part because of Jesus and the wisdom found in him.
Questions to Ask Myself
- In what areas of life am I dealing “treacherously”? In what areas am I seeking good understanding? How can I increase the latter?
