Reflections
About God
The “fountain of life” that we need is God Himself, in his Son, Jesus. That fountain is why and how we can turn from our sins to depart from eternal death.
About Self
By focusing on the Lord and having the right view of Him, I can turn aside from my sins and the destruction that follows sin wherever it goes - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
Questions to Ask Myself
- Do I have the right view of God (fear of the Lord), and do I fully understand that it is only through Him that my sustenance comes?
