Reflections
About God
The only person who is right “in his own eyes” is Jesus. God is always right (righteous, just, correct).
About Self
If I am relying on my own counsel solely, I am probably not in the right. I need to make sure that my personal counsel matches the wisdom I receive from my Bible, prayer, and godly influences in my life.
Questions to Ask Myself
- Am I continuing to work in my foolishness, instead of relying on godly counsel from those friends and spiritual leaders who the Lord has placed in my life? What thing am I doing that I need to seek that counsel for?
