And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. | Luke 2:10

Good tidings. Great joy. For all people.

Those words still carry the same weight they did on that holy night, even when my heart feels heavy.

You know what I love about this verse? Joy doesn't exhaust us. It strengthens us. When I'm running on empty in mid-December, I need to remember this. The joy of the Lord, not my ability to keep it all together, is what carries me through.
