Reflections
About God
God commands us to pay attention to what we’re letting influence us (“Cease” is an imperative) – it’s His job to provide the wisdom we are supposed to follow (He IS the wisdom).
About Self
Even as it is God’s job to provide the wisdom, it is our job to pay attention to what we are letting influence us, and continue to turn away from poor influences, or anything that takes us away from what we know is the knowledge and wisdom of God.
Questions to Ask Myself
- Am I continuing to do something I know I should let go because it is leading me away from God’s wisdom?
- Am I continually searching for God’s wisdom so I know which is the right way?
