Reflections
About God
Our holy God cannot be evil…cannot be around our sin. It is necessary therefore for us to leave our sin in order to have a right relationship with Him.
About Self
When we are prideful, we cannot draw close to God. We cannot depart from our own sinfulness (evil) without a proper view of Him.
Questions to Ask Myself
- Am I thinking too highly of myself?
- Do I have a proper perspective of God (reverence), and am I relying on Him to help me turn aside from evil?
